Choose A Position, Not Just A Spot

A good line position is not simply the closest place to stand. It is a place where the carrier stays safe, luggage stays together, staff instructions remain visible or audible, and other travelers can still move.

Stand with the carrier beside your feet or directly in front of your luggage, not behind you where it can be bumped. Keep the document hand free so you can show tickets without rearranging everything.
