Return To The New Checkpoint, Not The Old One

After a restart mismatch is re-confirmed, the earlier checkpoint may no longer be useful. The correct move is to return to the newly confirmed checkpoint, not to the place that appeared in the old note.

Write the new checkpoint in one line before moving: place, route, person, timing, documents, pet proof, carrier state, luggage state, weather cue, and next pause point.

Avoid The Wrong Flow

If the mismatch came from a wrong line, bus stop, gate, counter, pickup point, or road direction, do not drift back through the same flow. Step out, look for the safest side route, and re-enter only at the newly confirmed point.

If returning to the checkpoint requires leaving shelter, crossing an exposed area, or walking near vehicles with luggage, note the next sheltered pause point. Stop again if wind, rain, heat, visibility, waves, or road conditions change.

Izu Oshima Navi provides local transport and route-search context, including caution that the two-port situation can affect bus timetable display.

If you are returning to a bus stop, taxi point, pickup place, vehicle, road direction, or lodging transfer, confirm that transport item separately from the ferry or lodging instruction. Local movement has its own live cues.
