Confirm The Stop Before You Move

Tokai Kisen’s operation-status page says Oshima uses Motomachi Port and Okada Port, and that arrival and departure ports may differ. Izu Oshima Navi explains that the two main ports are used depending on waves and wind. After a disrupted ferry day, it is easy to mix up place names.

Check your destination or next stop before you start lifting bags. If you need to ask the driver, keep it short and wait for a moment that does not block payment or exit flow.

Exit preparation is not a reason to open the carrier. Keep it closed, level, and close to you while you gather luggage. If the bus is moving or crowded, wait for a safer moment rather than adjusting everything in the aisle.

Gather Luggage Without Blocking The Aisle

Prepare early enough that you are not surprised at the door, but not so early that you stand with loose luggage while the bus is still moving. Keep bags upright, straps tucked in, and the carrier separate enough to lift safely.
